What I love about Advocare

Dear Mom,

Thank you so much for the Advocare package.  I really did feel stuck, and after 12 days of a 24 day challenge, I feel much better.
Let me start by admitting that I was 183 the day I started the program.  I am half way through the challenge, and yesterday was Thanksgiving.  I weigh 177.  That is a 6lb loss.  I lost half a pound a day.  I guess some of it could be water weight, but I'm more motivated than I have ever been!
I am slightly allergic to black walnut powder, so the fiber drink made me kinda itchy, however, it filled me up and kept me from wolfing out on my food.
My goal is to weigh less than 165 by Christmas.  I intend to copy the program with some generic alternatives to bridge the gap, but I would really like another 24 day pkg for Xmas.
I believe this will start the year off well for me.

Dear everyone,

I want to share with interested readers that the Advocare system is very effective.  The alternatives may help to get one started or bridge gaps between orders, but I am a true believer in the actual product and program.

Advocare List:

 Day1-24 (as needed) Spark energy drink! I love it!!!! ------------- mid morning pick-me-up
*an alternative might be sugarfree Red Bull and EmergenC fizz drink

Day 1-24 (as needed) Meal Replacement Shake----- on the go
*any low sugar/high protein shake can substitute short term

Day 1-24 Omegaplex----- at lunch
* Fish oil vitamins

Day 1-3 and 8-10 Fiber drink----- before dinner
* I am better with Kroger brand Metamucil style fiber drink, because it doesn't have blk walnut in it.

Day 1-7 Herbal Cleanse----evening
* Senna tea or Smooth Move herbal tea (generics may cause cramping, bloating, itching, and/or nausea)

Day 4-10 Probiotic Restore----- mid morning snack
* probiotic pills or sugarfree yogurt with plenty of active cultures

Day 11-24 MNS packs---- before meals
* The packs are high in probiotics (common active cultures found in yogurts)and vitamins.  I think it may be impossible to find a good stand-in, but I noticed that there was chromium and magnesium, b-12 and b-6 vitamins in this regimen. I believe many of us are lacking the right vitamins, and Advocare seems to have a very effective blend.

Day 1-24: Drink plenty of water (oz equal to half your weight)...whaaa?
Avoid all soda!
Avoid packaged stuff, convenience foods and fast food
Move your bod, walking and swimming both create long lean muscles.

New Years Resolutions

1.  We are going to get financing for our house.  Then we will manage our finances to make way for more rental properties.

2. Every year, my resolution is to lose weight.  This year, I am going to focus on cutting sugar out as much as possible and working out twice a day.  I usually work out 4 or 5 days a week for 30 minutes, but I eat an average of 1800 calories including 200 grams of sugar.  I'm going to change that to less than 30 grams of sugar.

3. My other yearly goal is to get published. In 2012, a poem of mine: "Standard of her Deviation", was included in New Millennium Writings. A couple years before that, I had two poems published in Lincoln Memorial University's magazine, The Emancipator. This year, I want to get two or more additional poems printed.

4.  My next goal is to net over 500 dollars a week.  Any job will be better than staying at home changing diapers, folding laundry, and playing World of Warcraft. That should be my weekends, not my life.

5. I have the materials to make wood signs.  I have a few saved on Pinterest.  I will make three of these signs by March 1st.

7. I aim to finish my first script. I have other stuff that I am writing on, but I lose momentum each time I switch from one project to another.  I should finish 90 something pages sometime this year.  I will write 2 pages a week.

8.  We will pay off the two big credit cards we have.  We will also pay down the smaller retail debt.  We will avoid collecting more or putting more on the ones we pay off.

These seem like the same goals I have every year.  So, here are some bonus goals:

* Visit Hot Springs in Asheville.
* Build a goat/dog house and fence for Skydog and Nannygoat
* Build a hen house and fence with garden system and compost bin.
* Make Berry Planters and plant strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries.
* Learn about making moonshine in a still and how to use it on small engines.
* Study small engine repair.
* Learn conversational Spanish- build towards fluency. Trip to Mexico/Costa Rica 2014
* Keep student loans on tax-based payments
* Herb Gardening
* Teach Aromatherapy class
* Make more jewelry for girfts and to sell on ETSY.
* Do kick-back exercises, squats, and lunges and hope for a big bubble booty.
* Learn to hula hoop and buy a waist-training corset.
